Sweetness! These are both awesome. I think I prefer the vertical one slightly.
I think the lines in the vertical one are more cohesive, although it might look better with an 8x10 crop ratio.The simpler subject of the wide frame (which I slightly prefer) might also be more balanced with a narrower crop.
